Been meaning to do reference sheets for the muses for a while, so I finally got around to starting on Cab Sav yesterday. Nekkid on the left just for body type and tats (cos of course Merlot has many a tat to show off), followed by some facial expressions that are a bit dodgy. Mrr. Mostly that's to show she has a round face but it came out a little more boxy than intended. Never mind. And yes, I halfarsed the toes to the point of not drawing them at all. Toes suck, people, they really do.

Middle one is basically standard dress for the character, so for Cab Sav that means big sexy boots, a little sexy skirt and a tight sexy corset. Oh, and tasteful jewellery. I call that her standard hairstyle, too, though really it just changes to match the outfit. Around about shoulder length, though.

Next as a PIRATE because that's how I first drew them all together and pirates are awesome, also space filler. And finally~ in ideal GW armour, just cos they seem to all be ending up there. That one took SO LONG because of all the fiddly little details and making that pattern on the top and the skirt work to my advantage. Yes, I pretty much copy and pasted the hair on that straight from the ninjas picci I did earlier this year. Shh >> Technically she started out as a warrior, but assassin stuff suits her better in the long run anyway, and Brut makes a better tank than she does, if we're honest.

On a more technical note, I'm trying out a not-so-new style of colouring. It uses my favourite sketchy brush I do the landscapes with instead of the soft-edged thing I've been using previously. More time consuming, but SO much more fun and manageable. Looks more solid at the end, too, I think, and it makes it easier to blend the colours cos they don't have to be smooth.

YAY. One down, nine to go :D

They ARE very moreish, but watch me do another one or two then get bored of 'em XD I did manage to do the whole Own last time, tho. Hmm. STRANGER THINGS HAVE HAPPENED.

GW one was quite fun, actually. Fiddly with the damn lineart, but colouring was fun :D

Loving the outfits, I know I've seen her wear them before but they are all so sparkly spangle gorgeous. Last one is horribly detailed <3! How you do this?

Ooooh 'narti oooh! I love the Monument armor one in particular, it REALLY shows the effort you put in to it *___*. (PS waaanty. Sob.)
