Colours Meme
Like the title says, meme of characters by colour :D
Red was easy, obviously had to be a swordie, and Melraan's the most typically swordsman in the Own, so he gets that spot.
Blue also easy, because it doesn't get much more blue in Raykin than to be royalty AND an archer. All Nol needs is to be head healer and he's got the trifector.
Yellow you can't really tell because there aren't any clothes visible in the headshot, but Lynnlita loves yellow, and obviously gold, so that works for her.
Green would be any of the healers. I was tossing up between Fali or Ramnaré, but Fali won out for no reason whatsoever. Her hair is fun? *shrug* I possibly made her skin too pale, in an effort to make her not as tanned as the boys who spend a lot of time training/on missions/generally outside.
Pink was impossible. I have no pink characters. Lynnlita's sister, Amyrallyn, loves pink, but she doesn't have a design as yet, and I didn't really want to halfarse one just for a meme. So, scribbled out pink and made it strawberry blonde, just so I could stick a Kazinian in there. Yay Flannel Flower. She didn't come out well, but eh, it'll do. She looks a bit like an alien.
Purple had to be Kaen, and for the first time ever, I think I've actually drawn him sexy, yay! And he still looks different to Nol, too!
Black is Nimay. 'nuff said.
White is Yamin. Mirror imaged Nimay's sketch so I'd actually get them identical for this, and discovered that the pointy eyebrows reeeeally don't work for her. So that's the only bit about them that's different.
Orange was an own choice thing, and since I had the other three weapons of the Raykinian army being represented, I felt the stickmen should get a look-in, too. So here's Inel, complete with underbite. I had too much fun with the wrinkles around his mouth and his crows feet, so he temporarily looked about 60 until I toned them down. Wrinkles are fun, damnit.

Of course both twins look fab, they always do, I love how they are kind of looking at each other too. And their haaair <3 and eyes so pretty!
I chose Orange for my last colour too >D Ah but this guy looks calm and collected, I love his hair, the stray bits at the top. Inel <3 He looks older but not too old at all.
