Sketch Dump

A lot of this stuff is really getting on a bit now, from last year, even =0 None of it will be finished, some might get redrawn with better poses/costumes/whatever, but these ones are as they stand.



Part one of a series I was going to do with the muses dressed up as the four kingdoms of Tsyllaes. Cab Sav and Merlot scored tropical Kazin (at the time, ten muses, so two for each and four for Kazin, split between mountains and tropics). This one has been smudged a lot in the sketchbook, for some reason.



Sparkling Shiraz and Brut got Raykin, because Shiraz is the muse in charge of SH and therefore fits Raykin best, and Brut's her brother, so yes. I may reuse that pattern at some stage.



Semillon and Pinot in Llayad. Clearly never got far with this one. I got bored of the project for some reason. Also, Pinot should really have knee-high boots. I dunno why he doesn't oO I thought Llayan blokes had always worn boots in my head. Eh. At least he has a cravat.



Merlot showing off his tats. 'nuff said o/ This has pretty much already been redone in the form of his character design sheet :D



Chibi Riesling, doing what Rieslings do. I believe I drew this on the plane to Malaysia maybe?



2 June, yep, that was Malaysia. Stealing poses out of the inflight magazine, as ya do. There wasn't much of interest in that magazine, tho, so this is all you get.



Some random crawling winged person, looking like she's sneaking up on something.



Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre. Yes it's another one. Shush. Everything started fitting into place in Malaysia, then I sketched her up down by the fire when we got home, and boom, GSM is now alive.



May as well upload these ones now, too. Profiles of my pirates, part of Li-Ying's crew on the Bloodstained Lotus. Equinox Lyme, the first mate, who is a Wish :D She cut her thumb off so skipper Li-Ying could become a pirate lord, cos they're BFFs.



Thiras, wind witch from Tsayth. She can make the wind move and powers the ship when she feels like it :D



Lagoon, little pygmy from somewhere in the giant unchartered desert of Tsayth/Llayad. Their species is mute and communicates with magic that the crew doesn't understand. They're teaching her to be a pickpocket :D



Coffee, the ship's cook who is awesome at making coffee and tea and not much else. That's about all I know about her o/ There's also~ Desert Pea who I haven't gotten around to drawing, but felt I may as well post these ones for the moment o/



Random sketch of Nimay going GRR with a sword. Was looking too stiff tho so I never inked it.



Llayans drink tea, as one would expect. Hands were looking like shit so never went any further.



First sketch of Princess Assili of Kazin, this time with some tiny tropical bird. I like this one better than the one I did on the computer, actually. She looks more like a child-dressed-up than a badly-proportioned adult. Didn't have the Colours down at this point, tho, so kinda got stuck when I got to them and never got back to it.

I'd show you works-in-progress, too, but one's at the stage of stick figures, one hasn't moved since I last showed it, and one's a Christmas present, so no point there.
