This is Ket, the boyfriend in my upcoming porny chef NaNo :D Aside from the obvious, all the props here are somehow related to sexytimes, because Ket, as I say, is Ulindu's boyfriend. He's a Tsaythi sailor, specifically a merchant trader, so everything here could also be seen as just artefacts and nicnacks from his travels. The silk scarf is over his eyes because he's legally blind, aww.

Little pots from Llayad! These are perfume bottles, which in this case contain scented oils for use in the bedroom. The bigger pot has a musician, cos music's sexy, and two people embracing. The taller pot has leaves and nuts from a tree whose oil (from the nuts) is thought to be an aphrodisiac.

From Raykin, a scented candle! Because nice smells and candle flames in the bedroom are romantic.

From Kazin, a sheer silk scarf, which was a gift from one of Ket's lovers, and of course sheer silk is hot. Especially when it's used as a blindfold.

From Ket's homeland of Tsayth, an oyster, because again aphrodisiac. Also maybe he was a pearl diver before he started going blind, idk.

And, finally, the dildo which makes this post members only :D Made from opal, also from Raykin. Opal is hard to paint. Everything about real opal is hard to draw. You think it's super desturated with just a few specks of colour? Wrong, the sparkly bits are SO bright and blown out and honestly about half the opal. You think it's bright and twinkly? Wrong, half of it's practically grey. You think there should be a smooth transition between the grey and colour? Wrong, it's a SHARP edge that looks synthetic, except even the synthetic ones look bad and wrong. Everything about opal feels and looks wrong to draw but that's what they ARE and it's so hard to draw. I feel like, as a South Australian, I have an obligation to try and figure out how to draw it, tho. This one'll do for now.
