Meesh Character Reference

Meesh is a spy working for Raykin in Assiraz. She's a pretty minor character, but I ended up putting her in here because every other Kazinian I have is royalty, and Meesh at least gives a bit of normalcy to the costume design. She wears cotton batik and her Colours in silk gauze, very much in-line with her cover as Supervisor of Domestic Affairs at the palace. So like, high-enough ranked in the domestic services that she can wear batik with many colours and go anywhere in the palace without being sus, but not so high that people know who she is. Colours are usually between knee- and ankle-lenght, but Meesh wears hers a bit shorter than knee-length and always wears short sarongs so she can run easily, never wears metal jewellery because of the janglies but will often go for feathers, and is always barefoot, again, for silence and stealth.
Her makeup is usually focussed around her eyes so she's harder to recognise. Her tats are all just in black because a) colour is exxy and b) yellow is nigh on impossible. So she has the pattern of her Colours around her arm, and a winged snake on her inner thigh. The snake part is a thrai, link to her Raykinian ties, and the feathers are from her early life, breeding the green parrots whose feathers are used to fletch the arrows in the Assiraz army. She's the only one who knows the true story behind it, though, mostly because of its positioning--as she's walking, people might catch a glimpse of feathers and mmmaaaaybe a beak? Her sarongs are generally long enough to at least cover that much. And lbr if anyone's looking more closely than that, that gives her full permission to deck 'em--but if anyone is in a position to sensuously start tracing the lines of said tat, she can just tell the story of the winged snake from Kazinian mythology (which I haven't made up yet) and bone 'em. That'll do the job and stop 'em asking questions. It must also be noted that the inner thigh is a painful place to be tattooed, and Kazinians all know the painful places, so that gives her some street cred, too.
