He looks less resting-bitchface than I was initially aiming for but it'll do. Murali has always been the most clean-cut of the archers (which isn't much of a bar to jump when you look at the scruff he hangs around), always neatly trims his beard and has his hair tightly pulled back. Since getting back in a second time, and nothing at all to do with royalty now being in the ranks, he's been experimenting a little more with patterns in his clothes, but he's never been one to show off so he typically has sleeves covering to almost the elbows, and always three-quarter pants.

SWORD Similarly to General Rau's sword, Murali's is a statement of intent. He has no designs on being general of the Own, but very much wants to start climbing the ranks in the army once he's inevitably knocked out again. Getting back in by default gets him closer to royalty, and closer to his ultimate goal. So his sword is black! He also has the slickest nira helmet you ever did see, because of how much niras are associated with the army (their hide is used as armour and boots).

SMOKE Same design just made into a makaki because I've always liked the spots :D Side note, guanaco, an animal in the same family as llamas and alpacas (and tapirs, apparently?), make for a very good foot ref for makakis. They only have two toes instead of the three I need but it's a good ref.
